Week 6

 Part of my contribution to the post-filming process was deciding what cuts should be used and where. I decided that a majority of the cuts would be straight cuts, and we would have a few others. For example, In the beginning, we have a transition where something touches the camera and then when it comes off its a new scene. We also have a scene at the end where the screen goes black then fades to the final clip. Almost all the scenes in the middle are parallel cuts where it goes from what the Uber driver is doing to what the girls are doing simultaneously. 

    As for shot durations, each shot will be 3-5 seconds long, as most of it is conversation. The longer shots allow the audience get a full understanding of the perspective of each character and their overall rollin the film. It also creates a sense of mystery and adds intensity, because just as the viewer thinks they are going to see something, it cuts to the parallel scene.
