Midterm

For the midterm, we made a practice for our final film assignment. We made a horror film, which is the same genre I am planning to use for my final that will be submitted to AICE. This practice helps me to but my knowledge of film directing, shots, angles, lighting, cuts, and everything else I have learned this year to the test. It also helps me to see if I enjoy my group and if we work well together. Throughout this process, I have learned that I need to work on continuity and Mise-en-scence. However, I also learning that I have a solid understanding of lighting, as well as what certain shots help the viewer to perceive characters as. For example, a low angle shot may make a certain character convey power, whereas a low high angle shot makes another character seem weaker and more vulnerable.
